It's not just bad news - good news come in threes, too. This mini-album by new trio The Lion Story is as refreshing as a mint julep on a hot day. Their brand of melodic power-pop, accented with just the right rumour of harmonies and guitar riffs, is reminiscent of bands such as Weezer nad The Click Five, but dont think the guys - Haramain Osman, Khair Osman and Haffiz Hussin (my lil brother aka Guitarist) - are mere imitators. This is one of the better debuts and the DIY initiative doesnt lack in quality at all. The optimistic What If, uplifting Fill You In and the Malay ballad Segala Yang Kau Impikan are standout tracks.

on 18.3.09, we had a farewell lunch for our colleagues, JJ & Mike :)

JJ will be leavin' NUS to start a new "ttteeeetttttttttt", while Mike will be going back to the US atr spending 9mths with us in NUS...

GOOD LUCK TO BOTH OF THEM ... TILL WE MEET AGAIN :)

on 16.6.09 , we went out for dinner & also to celebrate PL's birthday @ Desa Kartika but the treat actually came from the birtday man :)

food was OK, mayb i shd try @ diff indon restaurants...
